Our Advisory Network

Over 135 participants across 35 countries helped to transform the Ocean Panel’s vision into action.

In the initial phases of the Ocean Panel, the Ocean Panel Advisory Network played a key role leading up to the release of the Transformations in December 2020 and continues to provide support for key Panel goals.

The Advisory Network included the private sector, non-governmental organisations and intergovernmental organisations, coordinated by three eminent co-chairs.

Advising the Ocean Panel
on its ocean action agenda

The Advisory Network  brought together a diverse array of stakeholders to convert the Ocean Panel’s vision of a sustainable ocean economy into action.

The group helped to drive action forward by disseminating and amplifying the Ocean Panel’s work to help implement, accelerate and scale action. This was within their own institutions and through voluntary action.
