For Sustainable
Gestion des océans

Every Nation. From the coast to the high seas. Sustainably Managed by 2030.

The ocean supports biodiversity, food security, and livelihoods for billions. Yet climate change, pollution, and overfishing are pushing marine ecosystems to their limits. The world needs a coordinated response.

That response is the 100% Alliance.

100% by 2030

The Ocean Panel started the story, committing to 100% sustainable ocean management in 2020, now the 100% Alliance is calling on every coastal and ocean state to sustainably manage 100% of its national waters by 2030. Not a portion. Not the easiest areas. All of it.

The path forward is through Plans Océan Durable.

A Sustainable Ocean Plan is an integrated national strategy
that guides the protection and sustainable use of ocean resources. Grounded in place-based, ecosystem-based, and inclusive approaches, these plans help nations manage their waters long-term.

Every plan is different. But every effective plan is built on nine core attributes.
