En 2020, les membres du Panel Oc\u00e9an ont annonc\u00e9 leur ambition commune de g\u00e9rer durablement 100% d'espaces oc\u00e9aniques sous leur juridiction nationale d'ici 2025, guid\u00e9s par des Plans Oc\u00e9an Durables. En outre, ils ont exhort\u00e9 tous les \u00c9tats c\u00f4tiers et oc\u00e9aniques \u00e0 se joindre \u00e0 eux dans cet engagement, afin que d'ici 2030, toutes les zones oc\u00e9aniques sous juridiction nationale soient g\u00e9r\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re durable.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 propos du Guide des plans oc\u00e9aniques durables<\/strong><\/p>\n

Un plan pour un oc\u00e9an durable vise \u00e0 guider les d\u00e9cideurs des secteurs public et priv\u00e9 sur la mani\u00e8re de g\u00e9rer durablement la zone oc\u00e9anique d'un pays sous juridiction nationale pour faire progresser le d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique et social \u00e0 long terme, en prot\u00e9geant les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes marins naturels qui sous-tendent ce d\u00e9veloppement. Il jette les bases de la mise en \u0153uvre de l'Ocean Panel\u00a0Transformations <\/em>programme, fournissant un \u00ab parapluie \u00bb unificateur pour la gouvernance nationale li\u00e9e aux oc\u00e9ans.<\/p>\n

Ce nouveau guide identifie les caract\u00e9ristiques et les attributs d'un plan pour un oc\u00e9an durable et sugg\u00e8re des mesures initiales que les \u00c9tats oc\u00e9aniques et c\u00f4tiers peuvent prendre pour d\u00e9marrer ou acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la planification durable des oc\u00e9ans.<\/p>\n
