Ce document propose quatre principes pour la comptabilit\u00e9 nationale des oc\u00e9ans et discute des m\u00e9thodes de mesure et d'\u00e9valuation des actifs oc\u00e9aniques ainsi que de leur croissance et de leur d\u00e9clin. Le document ouvre la voie \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre de normes statistiques d\u00e9j\u00e0 convenues et de nouvelles innovations dans la comptabilit\u00e9 nationale de l'oc\u00e9an, permettant aux comptes nationaux de devenir un outil plus utile pour cr\u00e9er une \u00e9conomie oc\u00e9anique durable.<\/p>\n

Le 22 juillet 2020, la \u00abComptabilit\u00e9 nationale de l'oc\u00e9an et de l'\u00e9conomie oc\u00e9anique\u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9e via un webinaire 'Au-del\u00e0 du PIB\u00a0: Comptabilit\u00e9 nationale des oc\u00e9ans et de l'\u00e9conomie oc\u00e9anique<\/a>', anim\u00e9 par Eliza Northrop, membre de l'\u00e9quipe du Secr\u00e9tariat, et mettant en vedette l'auteur Eli Fenichel\u00a0; Catherine Blewett, sherpa du panel oc\u00e9an du Canada; et les membres du groupe d'experts Glenn-Marie Lange et David Obura. Teerapong Praphotjanaporn du Global Ocean Accounts Partnership et Claire Jolly de l'Organisation de coop\u00e9ration et de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomiques ont \u00e9galement rejoint le panel.<\/p>\n
