These organisations will significantly expand Ocean Action 2030\u2019s ability to support countries in both the financing and implementation of Sustainable Ocean Plans \u2013 a critical step to building a sustainable ocean economy and delivering real impact on the ground.<\/p>\n

About the United Nations Capital Development Fund\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>
\nlos UNCDF<\/a> mobilises and catalyses capital for high-risk markets with a strong focus on Least Developed Countries, Small Island Developing States and nations in special situations. By deploying risk absorbing financial instruments, advisory services and structured finance, UNCDF unlocks resources that support job creation, economic growth and prosperity across more than 70 countries.<\/p>\n

Working in partnership with other UN entities and development partners, UNCDF operates with speed and agility to provide scalable and blended finance solutions that bridge the gap between public and private funding, enabling development finance institutions and multilateral development banks to scale up sustainable investments. Their financial leadership directly strengthens Ocean Action 2030\u2019s mission to mobilise resources for Sustainable Ocean Plans.<\/p>\n

About OceanMind<\/em><\/strong>
\nOceanMind is a tech-enabled nonprofit delivering data intelligence, capacity building and enforcement support to protect marine ecosystems and ensure responsible fisheries. Their AI and monitoring systems cover over 6 million km\u00b2 of Marine Protected Areas and track compliance for hundreds of thousands of vessels. \u00a0Their real-time tools deepen understanding of ocean activity and drive compliance with legal frameworks as well as sustainability commitments. OceanMind\u2019s work enhances environmental, social and governance performance, addresses climate risk and strengthens maritime transparency.<\/p>\n
