Postcards were handed out by members of Blue Echo and placed on tables during the 2025 United Nations Ocean Decade Forum in Nice, France.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Blue Echo was featured as part of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/californiaseaweedfestival.org\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">California Seaweed Festival\u2019s Art and Innovation Showcase<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, as well as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/altasea.org\/blue-hour-blue-food\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Blue Hour<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> &#8211; an event dedicated to blue food, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.braidtheory.com\/ignite22?adusf=twitter&amp;aduc=esristartups&amp;adut=abdcfff7-2be5-44b1-8965-206b3b1e13ea\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Braid Theory\u2019s Ignite22<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> &#8211; a global tech showcase, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/altasea.org\/event\/altasea-open-house-charting-the-course-of-ai-in-the-blue-economy\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">AltaSea\u2019s October Open House: Charting the Course of AI in the Blue Economy<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cAs a professor, I have the privilege of working with emerging artists, designers, and musicians who are not just making art <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">about<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> the climate crisis\u2014they are making art <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">within<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> it\u201d. Said <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Shannon Scrofano, Faculty Lead, CalArts. <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cTheir questions are entangled with ocean policy, ecological grief, multi-species futures, and what I think of as <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">planetary imagination<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, and metabolized into forms including sound, sculpture, installation, moving image, even gifts.
